Daddy Nino “WonderWall” x “Weak” x “Backseat Mentality”

When we think about the future of Hip-Hop, we must realize something : The Past is no indication of the future. Well , let me take that back. The Recent Past
is no indication of the future. Hip-Hop is rooting turn to its roots, with rappers/producers such as B [dot] Jay & Frankiee "Dee" Sinn sampling genres outside of hip-hop/rap in order to invade the mind, such as Run-DMC did with Aerosmith in the 80's.

Daddy Nino is no exception to this trend. The rapper/producer [who produced Lowkey Riez's "Limelight"] from Atlanta is saying "F-you" to his city, and being a one many army. From slow RnB tracks to songs where his flow has ADHD, Nino is doing whatever he wants. & you know what? It works.

"WonderWall" is basically a love track that has a April/August feeling to site (late nights with a cool breeze), which comes via an Oasis sample that can only be described as "refreshing".

"Weak" [the first single off of ] is a track that will make you do a double take. Nino starts out singing Rihanna, then goes straight into a Biggie-esque flow. Hey, even the beat is 90's-ish. But then just when you think it's safe to relax your brain, he springs back into singing

"Backseat Mentality" still has me spinning in circles [in confusion that is haha]. It starts out as you would assume, as with ND singing about a girl [with a mellow beat that fits perfectly], but heads towards Nino basically singing about his life & showing off his vocal talents.
